Description

One of the most spectacular public gardens in Sydney, Wendy’s Secret Garden has been developed over the past 20 years by artist Wendy Whiteley, wife and muse of Australia’s eminent artist Brett Whiteley.

Wendy’s Secret Garden – which is no longer a secret! – is nestled in Lavender Bay, just a short walk from the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Wendy has been developing her much-loved oasis since the mid-1990s.

This is a haven where locals and visitors can explore the tiered gardens with flowering plants, as well as views to the Harbour Bridge. Explore pathways that reveal striking sculptures that range from fine works to rustic pieces. Enjoy a picnic or relax at one of the tables or benches.
