Highlights and Current Projects:
- Willoughby Bay Precinct actively promotes the character of the built environment, for example: the Montague Road Conservation Area, as well as public transport (the 343 bus service).
- The Precinct supports increasing road safety for pedestrians and vehicles.
- The name Willoughby was first used on the North Shore by Sir Thomas Mitchell, possibly in honour of his close friend, Sir James Willoughby Gordon. The Precinct is bounded on one side by Willoughby Bay.
