Applications for 2026 residences close: Sunday 30 November 2025 at 5pm.
Successful applicants will be notified by Monday 8 December. Successful applicants are required to accept or decline the residency offer by Monday 15 December.
Residencies commence
- Primrose Park Artists' Studio – 2 February 2026
- Coal Loader Artist's Studio – 2 February 2026
- Alfred Street Artists' Studio – 2 March 2026
All residencies are for a fixed 12-month period. Deferral of residency commencement dates are not possible.
Successful applicants will be required to attend a welcome and onboarding session on Friday 30 January 2026, this will include a photo call.
Information Sessions and Studio Inspections
- Register for the general online information session Wednesday 22 October at 1pm
- Register for the First Nations-Led in person information session at Alfred Street on Friday 24 October 1pm
- Register for the Primrose Park onsite information session and studio inspection Saturday 25 October 10am-12noon
- Register for the Coal Loader onsite information session and studio inspection Sunday 26 October 10am-12noon
- Register for the First Nations-Led online information session on Tuesday 28 October 1pm
- Register for the Alfred Street onsite information session and studio inspection at Sunday 16 November 12pm-5pm
Fees and charges
- There is no fee to apply
- Alfred Street and Primrose Park Studio rent is $45 per week payable in quarterly instalments
- The Coal Loader Artist's Studio is fully subsidised
- The First Nations Artist Residency is fully subsidised
- A refundable key bond $200
