Melissa-Jane Fogarty is a kidlit author/illustrator and freelance editor. Melissa is of Mununjali descent, living on Darkinjung Country. Her debut picture book Tubowgule: A Sydney Opera House History was published by Hachette Australia in March 2025. The second book in the ‘Our Lands’ series, Narm-Jaap: A Flinders Street Station History was released in March 2026, with a fiction picture book, One Word, out in July 2026.
