The Crows Nest Centre runs many community services for people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, such as:

  • English conversation classes
  • homework help for primary school children
  • employability workshops for skilled migrants
  • Japanese and Spanish speaking mothers’ groups
  • Chinese seniors group
  • Bollywood music
  • Persian morning tea

Community centres

North Sydney has a network of community centres that provide services, activities and programs to our residents. The centres are a vital part of community life. They are independent not-for-profit organisations that receive funding and other assistance from Council.
