Council meetings start at 7pm and are held at Council Chambers. You can attend a Council meeting in person or watch the meeting online via our YouTube livestream.
The webcast of meetings is not, and shall not, be taken to be an official record of North Sydney Council or of any meeting or discussion depicted therein. North Sydney Council does not accept liability for any defamatory remarks or inappropriate comments that might be made during the course of a meeting. Recordings of meetings are copyright protected and cannot be reused or reproduced without approval from Council.

Council agendas, reports, minutes and meeting dates can be found below and are available to view by 5pm on the Friday two weekends prior to a Monday Council meeting. To check a Council decision, refer to the Council meeting minutes for the resolution, usually available to view by 5pm on the Thursday following the Monday Council meeting.

10 February, 24 February, 10 March, 24 March, 14 April, 28 April, 12 May, 26 May, 23 June, 28 July, 11 August, 25 August, 8 September, 22 September, 13 October, 27 October, 17 November and 8 December.
If you would like to speak at a Council meeting, you must address Councillors on agenda items only. Please complete the form below by 10am on the day of the meeting.
Extraordinary meeting - 19 January 2026
At its meeting on 8 December 2025, Council resolved to hold an Extraordinary Meeting on Monday, 19 January 2026 to consider the report on a proposed special rate variation. This proposal aims to provide a medium-term pathway towards restoring financial sustainability and service resilience.
The report and meeting agenda will be published approximately 2 weeks before the meeting.

To ensure all registered speakers are accommodated and to avoid overcrowding, the following arrangements will apply:
- Public Forum will commence at 6:00pm.
- The Extraordinary Council Meeting will begin at 7:00pm, following the Public Forum.
- Seats in the gallery will be prioritised for those who have requested to speak.
- The Public Forum will be webcast from the Council Chambers (alternative venues are not suitable for live streaming).
- Overflow seating will be available in Hutley Hall with live streaming from the Chambers.
