Liveability Census results for North Sydney

Place Score’s Liveability Census took place between 26 March and 30 June 2023. This is the second time participants were asked to rate 50 neighbourhood liveability attributes with a place experience (PX) score out of 100.

North Sydney LGA achieved a PX score of 76/100, which was:

  • higher than the national average of 67/100
  • higher than every State and Territory
  • up one point from North Sydney LGA’s score of 75/100 in 2021


Our strengths in 2023 show an appreciation of our buildings and infrastructure as evidenced by the table below:
