Liveability Census results for North Sydney

2025 results

Place Score’s Liveability Census took place between 30 March to 30 June 2025. This is the third time participants were asked to rate 50 neighbourhood liveability attributes with a place experience (PX) score out of 100. 

North Sydney LGA achieved a PX score of 75/100, which was: 

  • In the top 10% of Council areas nationally

  • 9% higher than the Australian average of 66/100

  • 9% higher than the New South Wales average of 66/100

  • 7% higher than the Greater Sydney average of 66/100

Our strengths in 2025 include:

Although higher on average in the majority of categories, North Sydney LGA was below the national benchmark in 2025 for:
