Summary

The North Sydney Bushland Plan of Management (BPOM) provides an overarching plan for all bushland in the local government area that is either Council owned or Crown land managed by North Sydney Council.

It applies to land managed as bushland and zoned E2 Environmental Conservation or RE1 Public Recreation under the North Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2013.

The Plan of Management, prepared under the requirements of the NSW Local Government Act 1993, outlines Council’s core objectives, statutory obligations, relevant policies, general bushland characteristics, values and resources.

Issues and threats are identified and a clear direction is outlined for planning, resource management and maintenance that provides a basis for assigning priorities in works programming and budgeting.
