Join in a free community origami project as part of Pass the Baton: 80 years since the End of World War II.

To honour this milestone, a special peace event Pass the Baton: 80 Years Since the End of World War II  will be held on Saturday 16 August at the NSW Teachers Federation Auditorium. As part of this event, a community installation of paper cranes is being created at Primrose Park Art & Craft Centre. The paper crane is a traditional symbol of peace, hope, and healing. Each crane in this collective artwork will carry a silent wish for peace, folded with care and love — a message we pass on to future generations.

All are welcome to this community workshop – whether you’d like to fold together or learn how to fold for the first time!

Donations of spare origami paper (15 x 15 cm) are also warmly appreciated.
