Join Historical Services staff for a tour of the oldest European cemetery on the north shore and the final resting place of many notable figures, including prospector and politician Bernard Otto Holtermann, and rector and geologist Reverend William Branwhite Clarke.

Discover their stories and many others at Sexton’s Cottage Museum, displayed in the original 1850s ‘laying out’ room for bodies prior to burial.

This event will be held at St Thomas' Rest Park and is accessible from street-level and is an expected easy and flat walk. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a hat and water. There are limited park seating available.
