Motorbike riders will set off from North Sydney on 24 March for a two-day trip to Cooma to raise funds and awareness for charity Camp Quality.

Motor Cyc is a three-day event that brings motorbike riders together to enjoy their love of bike riding within a community of like-minded people.

The riders will set off from North Sydney on Friday 24 March and ride a designated route to Cooma to raise awareness of Camp Quality.

To participate in the ride, they must raise $1500 per rider and $500 for pillion passengers.

The Camp Quality Moto Cyc event was created as a spin off event in support of the Camp Quality 1,000 Ks 4 Kids Bike Ride Challenge.

The motorcycle ride has been designed in response to some of our wonderful supporters who enjoy taking their motorbikes on rides and for some others who would rather ride a motor bike than pedal a road bike!

The event started more than six years ago and the overall concept has not changed. However, in 2022 an off-road element was introduced, which sees dirt bikes ride to the same destination as on-road bikes, but travelling a different route.

This year there will be two routes in operation – one on road (bitumen) and one-off road (dirt) catering for all enthusiasts.

Road closure: Burton Street will be closed from Alfred Street South from 3am to 8am.
