Join Janet Parker-Smith as she discusses her art practice and her current exhibition 'Wicked Garden' in the Ridge Street Window Gallery.
Using a variety of art forms including collage, printmaking, ceramics and textiles, Janet Parker-Smith transforms items from everyday life to create new creatures, objects and forms. Janet's flight of imagination looks at ideas around our changing environment, friendships and adapting to new surroundings.
Janet Parker-Smith has been exhibiting nationally and internationally for over 30 years. Janet is well known as a local arts worker and also is a sessional teacher at the National Art School and Sydney Collage of the Arts. She has cross disciplinary process using Printmedia, sculpture and collage to create her work.
Wicked Garden in North Sydney Council's Ridge St Window Gallery runs 24 November to 8 January.
