A monthly series of hands-on sustainable living workshops, designed for everyone – no matter where you are on your sustainability journey!

Just starting out, but no idea what to do? A super busy life juggler trying your best, but wishing you could do more? Or a seasoned pro, all over it for years? This series is for everyone. You don't have to be perfectly sustainable, you just have to be committed to trying. These workshops are designed to upskill, inspire and make you feel good about your imperfectly sustainable journey. You'll get better at reducing your waste, growing some food and nurturing your home eco-practices.

February's theme is Harvesting, Foraging & Food Scrap Gardening and there are two workshops:

  • 11am to 12.30pm: Family focused (ages 8+)
  • 1.30pm to 3pm: Adult focused

What to expect:

  • Principles of harvesting - at home and in a community setting
  • Seed saving for the following season
  • Useful tools
  • Foraging basics
  • Use your supermarket leftovers to grow a second crop (reduce waste to landfill, transport miles and lower emissions, towards Net Zero)
  • How to plant & grow pick again varieties
  • How to store harvest for freshness and longevity

Booking essential. Space is limited to 25 places for each group only.

What to bring: BYO keep cup and reusable water bottle etc. Close-toed shoes. Sun protection.
