Green Moustache presents its inaugural Festival Del Gaucho, a day full of fun and festivities as we celebrate all the best parts of Argentinian culture: food, wine, music, dancing, football and community. This lively and family friendly festival is a homage to the rich traditions, captivating rhythms and spirited heritage of a remarkable region.
EL DIA
Doors open from 11.30am and the day will centre around an epic Asado producing feasts fit for an Argentinian god.
There will be wine tasting from Accuro Malbec and wines available from Catena Zapata (voted world’s best vineyard in 2023), live Latin American music, free tango lessons and performances, delicious empanadas from the famed Empanada Che who came out of retirement especially for us, a pop up from The Argentinian Market and face painting for the kids.
There will be enough Fernet Branca to water the Argentinian soccer team, foosball tournaments with Fernet Branca merchandise up for grabs and a live art show from the epic Argentinian artist Lucia Medina. One lucky festival goer has the chance to win her finished piece at the end of the day!
Tickets to the festival are free with food and drinks available to purchase on the day.
EL NOCHE
The festival atmosphere will carry on into the evening with the Asado delivering succulent grilled meats well into the night.
From 3.45pm to 6.45pm the venue will play host to a milonga, a social gathering of professional and enthusiastic tango dancers, aka a tango dance party! An absolute sight to see.
From 6.30pm onwards the festival atmosphere will carry on in the main venue, however in the private space ‘the sky room’ you can join an incredible Argentinian three course dinner ‘la cena’, with premium empanadas, juicy meats from the parrilla, chorizo and dulce de leche desserts alongside free flowing Malbec wine, beer and Fernet Branca and live entertainment.
