About the poets
Anne-Marie Te Whiu is an Australian-born Māori (Te Rarawa) who has edited numerous poetry publications and directed literary festivals for over 20 years. Her debut poetry collection, METTLE, has just been released.
Hasib Hourani is a Lebanese-Palestinian author, editor and educator who is also appearing at this year's Sydney Writer's Festival. His debut, rock flight, was recently shortlisted for the Kenneth Slessor Prize for Poetry.
