The North Sydney Living Futures Sustainability Festival will be an event not to be missed! This is a day not only for inspiration and information but for entertainment, fun, networking and socialising.
Stage entertainment, workshops, stalls, kids' activities, guided walks and tours are just a few of the things that will be on offer for a great day out at one of Sydney's most iconic harbourside sites.
Be sure to meet our amazing festival ambassadors; TV favourite Costa Georgiadis and Indigenous educator and performer Charleen Aguiar Dos Santos.
Eco Kids area
There is so much for children to enjoy at the festival with a whole stage and secret garden dedicated to Eco Kids! There will be plays from The Kings and Queens of Green, live music from The Vegetable Plot, bubble play and eco face-painting from Little Feet, Storytime from Stanton Library, discover sessions from Sydney Wildlife Displays, art from The Sydney Seahorse Project, a scavenger hunt, and maybe even a drop in from everyone's favourite gnome, Costa! Plus there's kid-friendly (and planet-friendly) food and a solar-powered ice cream truck!
EV Display Day
Festival attendees will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with a number of different types and brands of EVs. EV experts from Good Car Co will be on hand to answer any questions you have on the day as they share their first-hand experience of owning and driving EVs. The EV display will be located next to the main stage on the south side of the Platform.
Free bike valet parking
Bike valet parking is like a coat check for bikes. We’ll give you a ticket when you drop off your bike. You get to enjoy the festival, stress-free, whilst we guard your bike in secure bike racks. When you're ready, return your ticket and we'll bring your bike to you. Located on Balls Head Drive at the entrance to The Coal Loader.
Free bike tune-ups
We're doing free bike tune-ups to keep you riding smoothly. Our tune-ups are free and offered on a first-come first served basis through Pedal Set Go. Cyclists will be offered this free service until we have reached capacity. Drop-in sessions are available 10am to 4pm. Located on Balls Head Drive at the entrance to The Coal Loader.
E-bike demo
This is your chance to ride an e-bike and try before you buy! Electric bikes or e-bike popularity has skyrocketed over the last couple of years. Many users would say they travel further, faster and 'funner' than regular bikes and e-bikes are fast becoming the preferred form of transport for many residents living in the city. Lug & Carrie will be providing a variety of e-bikes on the day and they will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis, and no reserved bookings are required. Located on the north side of The Platform.
