Enjoy two evenings of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing in two of our most picturesque parks. Get ready for an unforgettable experience, where traditional charm meets contemporary humour.

Much Ado sees two of the Bard’s greatest character creations go head-to-head in a battle of wits. Leaping off the page and into the park, Beatrice and Benedick attempt to save a wedding under threat by the villainous Don John. This show offers a laugh-out-loud experience, infusing the classic tale of love, mistaken identity and witty banter with a healthy dose of modern comedic flair.

Bring a rug, pack a picnic, BYO drinks and gather your friends and family for an afternoon of side-splitting entertainment.

Two showings of the play will take place in two of our most picturesque parks:

Please note: Due to wet weather the event on 6 April has been moved indoors at the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability.

Note for parents and carers: Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare's comedies, featuring witty banter, light-hearted humour and a romantic plot. However, like many of Shakespeare's plays, it may contain elements that are challenging for younger children to understand and some strong language.

This event is part of our Village Vibes program, dedicated to infusing colour, life and vibrancy into our village centres.
