Our ever popular Wednesday Wellness series at the Coal Loader wrapped up at the end of March.
From September through March, the Coal Loader platform is the stunning scene for Wednesday Wellness classes for our community. Bringing friends together to start the day with an activity for mind, body and spirit, Wednesday Wellness is not just an exercise class but a beautiful example of the Coal Loader’s social connectivity.
Participants enjoyed a different class each week, ranging from tai chi to yoga, and strength and movement to Pilates.
This year, we also introduced a new Parents and Bubs Yoga session on alternate Wednesday mornings. These classes booked out every single week, with a waiting list longer than the attendance list. The classes provided an opportunity for new parents to bring their babies to the beautiful Coal Loader surrounds to stretch, bond with their baby and connect with other new parents.
Classes will resume in spring. They are free and open to all, but booking is essential. Be sure to keep an eye on the Coal Loader page for updates.
