What’s on during Family History Month:
- Making Sense of Your DNA
This beginner-friendly seminar with genealogy expert Andrew Redfern to help you understand your DNA results and identify shared ancestors. - Behind the Scenes at the Archives (booked out)
Go behind the scenes with Council’s Historical Services team for a guided tour of the archive, artwork and artefact store. - St Thomas’ Rest Park Guided Tour (bookings open in August)
Explore the oldest European cemetery on the north shore. Learn the stories of notable figures laid to rest there and view displays in the original 1850s ‘laying out’ room. - Family History Help Desk
Personalised one-on-one support for your family history research at the Stanton Library Heritage Centre. Open by appointment on Fridays, between 10am and 12pm.
