Bligh Street shared zone
Project updates:
- A detailed design for Bligh Street has been completed.
- Bligh Street shared zone was endorsed by NSC Traffic Committee on 9 June 2023.
- The request for quotation for the construction works closes on 4 July 2023.
- Pending the contractor’s availability, construction is planned to commence in early August and be completed in September or October.
- 95% of these works are funded by Transport for NSW.
- Business owners will be contacted in the next few weeks to meet the awarded contractor to coordinate works around their outdoor dining license.
