Council only approves work outside standard construction hours in extreme circumstances, such as overnight shop fit-outs or where demolition or erection of structures such as cranes or hoardings may be a risk to public safety during daylight hours.
Please note, we are not the only authority who can approve out of hours works, and there may be additional approved works we are not aware of (for emergencies, water works etc).
