View current out of hours works approved by Council

The following works are scheduled to take place outside of approved construction hours.

Council only approves work outside approved construction hours in specific circumstances. Examples include overnight shop fit-outs or where demolition, excavation or erection of structures may be a risk to public safety during daylight hours.

Approved hours of work

The approved hours of work for a specific development site are contained in the Development Consent.

You can view the Development Consent for each site via our application tracker.

Please note, we are not the only authority who can approve out of hours works. There may be additional approved works we are not aware of (for emergencies, water works etc).

Works: Tower crane installation

Works dates: Works will take place Tuesday 2 September between 6am and 7pm, weather permitting

Works: Lane milling and replacement of traffic loops, affecting two lanes on Blues Point Rd and one lane on Union St, with footpath open

Works dates: Works will take place from Friday 5 September to Monday 29 September, between 8pm and 5am, weather permitting

Works: Hoarding removal

Works dates: Works will take place on Saturday 30 August to Sunday 31 August and Saturday 6 September to Sunday 7 September between 7am and 5pm, weather permitting.

Works by other authorities

Third parties, such as utility companies and state departments, do not have to notify Council of emergency works.
