When Council or Council's contractor undertakes infrastructure or road works, we must follow standard working hours.

Standard construction hours

  • Monday to Friday - 7am to 5pm
  • Saturday - 8am to 1pm
  • Sunday and Public Holidays - no work is permitted

Standard demolition and excavation hours

  • Monday to Friday only, between 8am and 5pm

Start and end times are estimates only (weather and other factors permitting). All efforts will be made to minimise disruption and complete the works as quickly and safely as possible. Council appreciates your cooperation and patience.

Council has a management plan for Out of Hours works which provides additional guidance.

Meadow Lane, Wollstonecraft

Works: the reconstruction of stairs, concrete footpaths, installation stormwater pits, and replacement of existing bitumen paths at Meadow Lane stairs between Ivy Lane and Belmont Avenue.
