Young and Grosvenor Street Intersection Upgrade

Two new raised pedestrian and bicycle crossings are being installed on Young Street and Grosvenor Street Intersection replacing the roundabout.

The raised intersection will improve safety of all road users and pedestrians by enhancing the visibility of pedestrians and slowing vehicles at the crossing. These works also include extending the stormwater drainage along both streets.

Works commenced on Monday 24 February 2025.

The intersection was opened to pedestrians, cyclists and traffic on Friday 4 April 2025.

We thank you for your patience and hope you enjoy the walking, cycling and streetscape upgrades.
