Our Bushland Team can assist residents dealing with wildlife problems on their property. Contact them via our Customer Service Centre during office hours for advice or a site inspection.
The Department of Planning and Environment provides detailed information on native species and how to manage them, including:
- Australian brush turkeys
- Brush-tailed and ringtail possums
- Magpies, butcherbirds and cockatoos
- Grey-headed flying-foxes
While some people may view these animals as pests, all native wildlife is protected under the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 and it’s an offence to harm them. This includes interfering with life-cycle processes such as breeding.
