Ongoing excess waste collection

Every property pays a DWMC which provides for standard bins and their collection service. Pensioners pay 50% of the DWMC.

If an ongoing increase to a property's waste service is needed, the standard 80L bin can be upgraded to 120L or 240L. Annual rates for the property will increase depending on the size. The increase in rates will be pro-rated and the customer will receive a confirmation letter advising the change.

If you are a tenant, apply through your agent or property owner. Owners can apply for a permanent increase to their waste agreement using the form above.

For excess waste bins, purchase bins from recommended bin wholesalers such as Environmental Bin Sales, Sulo or Mastec.

Our Customer Service Centre operates from 9am to 5pm. Our Council Rangers are on duty and contactable seven days a week from 5.30am to midnight.
