Library Conference Room

Located on Level 2 of Stanton Library.

This large conference room can hold approximately 30 people seated at tables or 50 people seated lecture theatre style, and contains:

  • 10 x flip-top tables on wheels (1600 x 700 mm)
  • 80 stackable chairs, a whiteboard (no whiteboard markers provided)
  • pulldown screen and projector (hirer is required to supply cables, connectors and laptop to connect to the HDMI/VGA outlet)
  • kitchenette (including microwave, fridge/freezer, zip hot water, cups, saucers, tumblers and wine glasses).

The room is wheelchair accessible via the lift from the ground floor of the Library, and is fitted with a hearing loop.

 

Daily Conference Room Hire Fee – Mon to Fri (9am to 5pm) $280.00
Daily Conference Room Hire Fee – Weekends (10am to 5pm) $210.00
Hourly Conference Room Hire Fee – Mon to Fri (9am to 5pm) $60.00
Hourly Conference Room Hire Fee – Week nights (5pm to 8pm) $70.00
Hourly Conference Room Hire Fee – Weekends (10am to 5pm) $70.00
Discount for community groups, charities, non-profit organisations 50%
Discount for political parties 25%
Discount for six or more meetings, unless discounted already 25%
Payment of full amount is required 1 week before booking date.

Discount applies on to the room hire and not any extra equipment. Double discount is not permitted.

10% of the total room cost will be charged if the booking is cancelled within 7 days of booked date.


Public Liability Insurance 
is a necessary condition of hiring the room.

  • 1 round table
  • 5 stackable chairs
  • 48-inch Samsung monitor screen (hirer is to supply their own connection device, HDMI cable, or use the ClickShare app).

The room is wheelchair accessible via the lift from the ground floor of the Library.
