Council acknowledges that homelessness is a growing concern and can impact the local community.

Council acknowledges the rights of all community members to use public spaces, including people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, while also recognising the need to ensure we have a safe and peaceful community.

Council is guided by the Protocol for homeless people in public places, the Mental Health Act 2007 (NSW), and the Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Act 2021.
