You will learn about the traditional healing ceremonies through Karen's stories of her ancestors during the First Fleet and through a presentation about the fascinating Ngangkari healers and their 60,000 year old tradition of Aboriginal healing.

About the presenter
Karen Smith is from the Buruberongal clan of the Hawkesbury (Derrubin) area and she has been an Education Officer at the Aboriginal Heritage Office since 2011. She leads guided walks and provides talks and presentations throughout the partner Councils in northern Sydney.
Accessibility
This event will be held on Level 1 and is accessible for people using mobility aids via lift. A hearing loop is also installed.
