Small grant applications are open for projects serving the North Sydney community.

Council is accepting applications for its Small Grants Funding Program 2024-25 until 15 March.

The program awards grants of up to $2,000 to support projects or services that benefit North Sydney residents.

This year, the panel will be looking in particular for projects that address three emerging needs:

  • enhancing social connection and reducing social isolation
  • promoting and enriching inclusion in our community for groups that might experience barriers to inclusion
  • improving mental health and promoting resilience in the face of current pressures

Previous recipients of small grants include Taldumande Youth Services for food vouchers for young people at risk of homelessness, Mary’s House Services for a therapeutic space for victims of domestic violence, and the North Sydney KeyStrokes Choir which promotes belonging and wellbeing for stroke survivors. Find out how to apply and check your eligibility on Council’s Small Grants Funding Program page.
