North Sydney celebrates culture and creativity with new winter arts program

A vibrant new arts program is bringing live music, markets, exhibitions and workshops to North Sydney this winter.

North Sydney Council has launched its first-ever unified winter arts program, offering a season of free and ticketed events across May, June and July that celebrate culture, creativity and community.

The North Sydney Arts: Winter Program features a packed calendar of live music, exhibitions, workshops, markets and cultural celebrations - including the Gai-mariagal Festival, Pride Month events, the Primrose Park Artist Studios and Arts & Craft Centre Open Day and the popular Coal Loader Artisans Market.

Held across multiple venues in the local government area, the program invites residents and visitors to connect with local artists, engage in hands-on creative experiences and enjoy the vibrancy of North Sydney’s cultural life during the colder months.

Mayor Zoë Baker said the program offers a unique opportunity for the community to come together through shared experiences.

“Winter is a great season to come together through music, art, performance and shared experiences. The North Sydney Arts: Winter Program honours the voices and stories that shape who we are and invites everyone to be part of that journey.”
