Storytime and Rhymetime

We're making some changes to the lower ground floor

From Monday 12 to Friday 16 February inclusive, the children's and youth areas will be closed for refurbishment.

During this period there will be no access to any kids or youth collections, and Rhymetime and Storytime sessions, and LEGO and DUPLO clubs will not be held for that week.

We are expecting the area to reopen from Saturday 17 February. Regular children's programs will return the week starting Monday 19 February.

Rhymetime Kits

Missing our Rhymetime sessions? We've got you covered with our new Rhymetime Kits, as part of our Discovery Collection!

These specially-designed kits allow you to run your own Rhymetime session at home or at the park. Each kit comes with board books, puppets and other accessories.

And you can even sing along with our Children's Librarians through a dedicated YouTube playlist accessible via song sheet QR codes.

Suitable for families and carers with kids aged 0-5 years.
