Permit applications will close 16 December 2025, to allow for processing before Council’s Christmas shutdown from 24 December 2025 to 5 January 2026.
Permit applications lodged after 16 December 2025 will be processed after 5 January 2026.
Please note that applications submitted after 16 December 2025 can only consider works starting from 13 January 2026.
This online form is for businesses or individuals seeking approval to carry out works on Council-managed roads and/or footpaths.
Before starting your application, please ensure you have reviewed all relevant requirements and prepared the necessary documentation.

Please note:
For any change of date applications, please reply to the approval email from permits@northsydney.nsw.gov.au with a new community notification showing the new date/s.
Any changes in works or adding extra dates, will not be approved & a new application is required.
