Apply for a permit to occupy a road and/or footpath
This permit is required for any business or individual undertaking works on a Council road or footpath, including activities such as excavation, concrete pours, crane works, material deliveries, skip bins, footpath use, road use or closures, and out-of-hours road or footpath use.
The permit allows the applicant to stand and operate the nominated item only for the approved date, time, and location listed on the permit. No works are permitted to commence until a valid permit has been obtained.
Failure to obtain a permit, or failure to comply with the permit conditions, may result in breaches under the Local Government Act 1993 and/or the Roads Act 1993, with infringements issued accordingly. The permit may also be cancelled without notice if public or residential amenities are adversely affected.
