Alfred Street Artists' Studios
Located in the heart of Milsons Point, Alfred Street Artists' Studios are steps from Milsons Point Station, cafes and the Sydney Harbour foreshore on the land of the Cammeraygal People. The Alfred Street studio complex comprises four (4) separate studio spaces on a single level, accessed via a single entrance. Alfred Street is wheelchair accessible.
Alfred Street studio spaces are suitable for a wide range of creative practices, including visual arts, writing, performance, digital media, design or cross-disciplinary projects. The facility is a former community centre with carpeted floors, a good amount of wall space and plenty of natural light.
Studio 1 can accommodate two (2) tenants. The total size of Studio 1 is 32.5m2. The room is divided by a fixed plywood partition, creating two (2) separate spaces.
Studio 2 accommodates one tenant. This smaller space (formerly an office) is 8.2m2, and would suit a practitioner making smaller scale work, working with computer based/digital practices, literature, curation etc.
The largest space, Studio 3 accommodates one (1) tenant that could be an individual tenant or small collective. The total usable space is approx 32m2. The studio is suitable for a wide range of creative practices with plenty of floor space for performance or working in larger formats. There is one brick wall and one plywood partition.
Facilities include trestle tables, chairs and small metal storage cabinets. All other furniture/equipment is to be supplied by the tenant.

- Small clean-up space
- Basic tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave
- Air conditioning is available in studios 1 and 3
