Inside Outside Sculpture Plinth

The Inside Outside Sculpture Plinth is a unique exhibition space located in Ted Mack Civic Park near Stanton Library and the North Sydney Community Centre, displaying sculptures and installation-based works on a regular basis. Passers-by and visitors to the park can view artworks day and night 7 days per week.

The annual exhibition program for the space is developed through a combination of curated exhibitions and exhibitions selected via application.

Inside Outside Sculpture Plinth objectives:

  • provide a diverse and engaging annual exhibition program that includes a mix of Council run exhibitions, local artists and art groups, visiting and out-of-area artist exhibitions
  • ensure exhibitions are high quality and presented professionally per the selection criteria, exhibition guidelines, and conditions of use
  • support and promote artists, arts groups and curators who are working across a range of media and are able to contribute to the unique cultural identity of the visual arts in North Sydney
  • provide opportunities for the North Sydney community and its visitors to engage with contemporary art in the area
  • provide opportunity for artists to sell their work.
