Meetings address Council and community matters, and recommendations are put to the next available Council meeting.
The Committees below meet to discuss a range of Council matters. All Councillors are members of all Committees. A report on the proceedings (including recommendations) of Committee meetings is submitted to the next available Council meeting for endorsement.

In response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, Council has introduced the following changes to the public access to Committee meetings:
- The public gallery will be closed until further notice.
- Individuals can provide a written submission on any agenda item by 4pm on the day of the meeting to firstname.lastname@example.org which will be provided to the Councillors.
A webcast of the Committee meetings will be available on the day after the meeting.

Deals with the administrative and policy functions of Council, including responsibility for financial oversight.
Discusses Council legal proceedings, land-use policies, LEP and DCP, but does not deal with DAs.
This committee deals with senior staff employment arrangements in closed session.
Deals with traffic matters and reviews the Council Traffic Management Strategy.
