Edward (Ted) Carrington Mack

20 December 1933 - 6 November 2018 

A public memorial, celebrating Ted Mack’s life was held on 30 November 2018 in the Luna Park Grand Ballroom. For the service the MC was Ron Bendall, Editor North Shore Times 1990-2006; Jenni Mack, Ted’s eldest child; Professor James Weirick, Built Environment UNSW; Clover Moore, Lord Mayor of Sydney; John Hatton MLA, 1973 -1996; Phil Cleary, MP 1992-1996; David Muir, Chair of the Real Republic. The memorial service was filmed and the footage is being edited; it will be available at a later date for public viewing in Stanton Library.

About Elizabeth Farrelly

Trained in architecture and philosophy, Prof. Elizabeth Farrelly practiced in London and Bristol and holds a PhD in urbanism from the University of Sydney. A former Independent City of Sydney Councillor, she is currently Associate Professor in the Australian Graduate School of Urbanism at UNSW, and has written a number of award-winning books, including fiction and non-fiction.
